Yangzi Petrochemical has successfully completed its powder packaging compliance renovation project, with the first batch of qualified products officially delivered from the plant. The milestone marks the full completion of construction, upgrading and commissioning work, ushering the facility into a new stage of standardized and stable operational performance.
As a key strategic project for product quality upgrading, production layout optimization and low-carbon green transformation, the initiative features two newly built homogenizing packaging lines, fully supported by upgraded core production equipment, DCS automatic control systems and intelligent safety monitoring facilities.
Following official commissioning, the production lines realize fully enclosed, automated powder packaging throughout the entire process. The upgraded system significantly improves product homogeneity and surface quality, further strengthening the market competitiveness of Yangzi Petrochemical’s high-end product portfolio. In addition, the project fundamentally controls dust pollution, reduces energy consumption and emissions, optimizes on-site working conditions, and consolidates both safety and green production capabilities.
Since the demolition phase commenced in March 2025, all construction milestones have been completed on schedule. From pile foundation construction, earthwork excavation and main plant capping, to silo hoisting, roof grid installation and mechanical completion, all participating teams strictly controlled safety and quality standards, optimized construction procedures, and delivered efficient collaborative progress.
Mechanical completion was achieved on March 30, 2026, kicking off the final preparation and commissioning stage for official production launch.
To guarantee timely and stable startup, the Resin Department of Yangzi Petrochemical deployed forward-looking planning and rigorous pre-commissioning management. The team conducted comprehensive pre-inspection and rectification, set up a dedicated production preparation working group, and established efficient linkage mechanisms with workshop teams.
Full-coverage inspections were carried out on process equipment, pipelines and valves, electrical instrumentation, fire protection systems and auxiliary facilities. Party members and core staff took the lead in tackling difficult tasks, eliminating hidden operational risks and ensuring high-quality completion of all construction final works.
After more than one year of intensive construction and systematic preparation, the successful completion of the powder packaging compliance renovation and smooth product delivery injects strong momentum into the company’s high-quality development, further boosting product quality, operational efficiency and sustainable green manufacturing capacity.
