Sinopec Jiujiang Petrochemical Company has ramped up the production of premium sulfur products to meet booming market demand since the start of this year. From January to May, both the output and sales volume of sulfur registered a year-on-year increase of over 44%, marking a prosperous performance in both production and sales.
The company has moved forward its whole-process quality control and built a comprehensive raw material monitoring system to eliminate potential risks at the source. By precisely adjusting air distribution volume, Jiujiang Petrochemical ensures sufficient raw material combustion and steady feedstock supply for sulfur recovery units.
In terms of production management, the enterprise relies on refined operational management and continuously upgrades production processes to lift sulfur recovery efficiency and stabilize flue gas emission indicators. Notably, without adopting alkali washing facilities, it has stably controlled sulfur dioxide concentration in flue gas below 50 milligrams per cubic meter, exceeding conventional environmental protection standards. Targeting sweltering summer weather, the plant has launched targeted equipment maintenance campaigns to guarantee stable operation under extreme high-temperature working conditions.
At the product delivery stage, Sinopec Jiujiang Petrochemical coordinates with Sinopec Marketing Co., Ltd. to coordinate production and sales arrangements and arrange product shipment scientifically. It imposes strict inspection on product appearance and packaging weight, and conducts regular quality spot checks and inventory verification. A standardized warehousing sampling inspection mechanism has been established to safeguard full compliance with product quality requirements before delivery.
