Sinopec Jinling Petrochemical: Lanshi Reeng Qingdao Delivers Critical Reactor for Diesel Light Fraction Optimization Project

Recently, Lanshi Reeng Qingdao Company completed and officially delivered the core hydrofining reactor for Jinling Petrochemical’s diesel light fraction optimization and utilization project. The equipment serves the 1.9 million tons/year diesel hydrogenation unit and 400,000 tons/year molecular sieve dewaxing unit, marking a key equipment milestone for the petrochemical upgrading project.

The delivered hydrofining reactor features a diameter of 4.2 meters, a total length of 27 meters and a weight of 250 tons. The equipment requires ultra-high manufacturing standards and precise processing accuracy. During the production phase, the project team strictly standardized every working procedure, fully controlled product quality and construction progress throughout the whole manufacturing cycle, and overcame multiple technical challenges through collaborative efforts, finally accomplishing the high-standard equipment manufacturing and delivery task on schedule.

Revamped based on the existing No.2 diesel hydrogenation unit, this project acts as a pivotal step in Jinling Petrochemical’s industrial transformation and upgrading. Adopting atmospheric and vacuum kerosene fraction oil as raw materials, the facility integrates hydrofining technology with adsorption and separation technology for synergistic production.

The upgrading project can effectively boost kerosene production capacity and separate high-purity n-alkane components via professional adsorption technology. The refined n-alkane products can be used as high-quality surfactant raw materials for high-end daily chemical projects, forming a complete industrial closed loop of “oil refining – chemical processing – daily chemical manufacturing”.

By optimizing the product structure and extending the industrial chain, the project strongly promotes the transformation of traditional refining industry toward refined processing and low-carbon, high-value-added development.
