Sinopec Sales Co., Ltd. Beijing Petroleum Branch is a large-scale direct sales subsidiary of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) operating in Beijing. Its core business covers wholesale, retail, direct distribution and warehousing of gasoline, diesel, aviation kerosene, lubricants and other petrochemical products. It also runs diversified non-oil businesses including convenience stores, fast food and vehicle washing. In addition, the branch actively deploys clean energy terminal facilities such as hydrogen refueling stations, photovoltaic power generation systems and battery swapping and charging stations.
It undertakes nearly 60% of refined oil supply for Beijing’s capital market. On a daily basis, it delivers high-standard energy and supporting services to 300,000 individual vehicle owners and more than 2,000 corporate and institutional clients. Facing rapidly evolving customer demands in recent years, Beijing Petroleum has adhered to the top-tier service awareness tailored for the capital and upheld a customer-centric development philosophy while fulfilling its critical energy supply guarantee responsibilities for Beijing.
To sharpen frontline service capabilities, the branch has launched a 100-day service improvement campaign and professional skill competitions for staff. It rolls out diversified value-added services to boost customer satisfaction, including free vehicle washing, warm rest stations for road travelers and driver lounges. It also hosts the weekly Saturday Oil Discount Day on a regular basis. By consolidating internal management systems and upgrading full-scenario service quality, Beijing Petroleum has built a reputable corporate image as a trusted state-owned enterprise recognized by the government and the public.
To help local customers access premium fuel products, Beijing Petroleum has continuously expanded the service network of its proprietary Aipao 98 branded gasoline. By June 2023, Aipao 98 service outlets accounted for 72.1% of all Sinopec gasoline stations in Beijing, with over 500,000 registered long-term customers. The high-octane branded gasoline has gained widespread market recognition across Beijing’s consumer groups.
The branch has accelerated the layout of new energy charging and hydrogen refueling infrastructure. From February 2022 to the data cutoff date, it has supplied more than 570 tons of hydrogen for Beijing’s hydrogen-powered vehicles, completing over 54,000 hydrogen refueling service orders. In March 2023, Beijing Petroleum completed and put into operation a comprehensive oil-hydrogen energy station in Daxing District. The launch marked full coverage of hydrogen supply services for both commercial production vehicles and civilian passenger vehicles in Beijing, representing solid progress in building an integrated energy service provider covering oil, gas, hydrogen, electricity and diversified supporting services.
Beijing Petroleum has prioritized the high-quality development of Easy Joy, Sinopec’s official non-oil service brand, and comprehensively promoted digital operational transformation. It launched the Easy Joy Refuel mobile application to build an omni-channel customer service platform integrating online digital operations and offline physical stations, realizing seamless integration of oil sales and non-oil supporting services.
The branch has established cross-industry strategic partnerships with well-known consumer brands including KFC and TIMS Coffee. It has launched fully automatic, unattended and zero-emission intelligent vehicle washing projects at offline stations. Meanwhile, it has introduced industrial resources from insurance, telecommunications, automotive maintenance and internet sectors. At present, its offline service stations have evolved into comprehensive service hubs integrating convenience retail, auto maintenance, outdoor advertising, catering, travel consulting and insurance agency services.
