Recently, Lanshi Remanufacture (Qingdao) successfully completed and delivered the core hydrogenation refining reactor for Jinling Petrochemical’s diesel light fraction optimization and utilization project. The critical equipment serves the supporting 1.9 million tons/year diesel hydrogenation unit and 400,000 tons/year molecular sieve dewaxing unit, marking a key equipment milestone for Jinling Petrochemical’s refined oil upgrading and industrial transformation.
The newly delivered hydrogenation refining reactor features high-standard manufacturing requirements and ultra-high processing precision. With a diameter of 4.2 meters, a total length of 27 meters and an equipment weight of 250 tons, the reactor adopts rigorous production processes and sophisticated fabrication techniques. During the manufacturing phase, the project team strictly controlled all working procedures, fully monitored product quality and construction progress, and achieved efficient cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring the full completion and smooth delivery of the high-standard pressure vessel equipment on schedule.
The diesel light fraction optimization project is renovated based on Jinling Petrochemical’s existing No.2 diesel hydrogenation unit, serving as a pivotal step in the company’s high-quality transformation and product structure upgrading. The project takes atmospheric and vacuum kerosene fraction oil as the raw material and adopts a combined process of hydrogenation refining and adsorption separation technology.
The integrated technical solution effectively improves the production efficiency and product quality of aviation kerosene. While significantly boosting Jinling Petrochemical’s aviation fuel production capacity, the advanced molecular sieve separation process can extract high-purity n-alkane components from diesel and kerosene fractions. The separated high-quality n-alkanes can be used as premium surfactant raw materials for high-end daily chemical projects.
The completion and operation of the upgraded project will help Jinling Petrochemical build a complete closed-loop industrial chain covering oil refining, chemical processing and daily chemical manufacturing. It effectively optimizes the enterprise’s refined product structure, reduces low-value diesel output, and increases the proportion of high-value aviation fuel and fine chemical raw materials.
As a key fine chemical and low-carbon transformation project, the upgrading initiative accelerates Jinling Petrochemical’s strategic shift from traditional fuel refining to refined, diversified and low-carbon chemical production. It provides a replicable transformation model for domestic refining enterprises to extend the industrial chain, increase product added value and advance green and low-carbon development.
