Shanghai, China – November 25, 2025 – BASF-YPC Company Limited (BASF-YPC) marked its 25th anniversary with a celebration, bringing together stakeholders and partners to reflect its growth journey and share its vision for the future.

Founded in 2000, BASF-YPC is a joint venture between BASF and Sinopec, with a cumulative total investment of RMB 39 billion. Over the past 25 years, the company has remained steadfast in its commitment to safe and stable operations, becoming a benchmark company in the chemical industry of the Yangtze River Delta region.

Through multiple phases of expansion, BASF-YPC has advanced its industrial chain toward high-end downstream sectors, building a diversified production system that includes advanced chemicals and high-performance polymers. Today, the company boasts an annual production capacity of approximately 3 million metric tons, meeting the evolving demands of the Chinese market.

This milestone coincides with BASF Group’s 160th anniversary globally and its 140-year presence in China.
